Tricia and Bruce beneath a tree, daisies and a theme of serendipity
By the sea, you and me, oh how happy we'll be: Dawn and Dan
"By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea, you and me, you and me, oh how happy we'll be "
Oh, how happy they were and are, Dan and Dawn, at the Seaside Cottages in S. Yarmouth on October 4th. Having come all the way from Arizona to live out their dreams of being wed on Cape Cod.
"I love to be beside the sea ' and on the suggestion of the photographer, Julia Cumes, the three of us did just that....carrying the sand ceremony table down to the beach as the golden light of early October infused our ceremony. Oh but the love and sheer joy of Dan and Dawn was contagious .
One of the other guests at the the Seaside cottages approached me after the wedding saying this couple and their wedding had changed her life. "I came here because I'd been so down lately then I met Dan and Dawn and feeling part of this ceremony today, it has given me hope."
As Yanni Vozos of th Appalatins sings, "Spread your love around ..." even those who think their wedding is just going to be just the two of them on a quiet beach ....surprise, surprise true love can't contain itself ......it spreads itself around and comes back around transforming everyone it touches.
destiny and sweet smiles by the sea
October brought a batch of lovely 'Just the Two of Us" couples. In the picture above Hannah and Michael found a lovely place called , By- The- Sea in Dennisport with their own private Nantucket Beach. They walked at dawn on their wedding day and collected heart rocks and little good omen totems to have with them at their ceremony. They also collected new friends who shared a toast of the bubbly on the porch. A theme of destiny emerged. A German couple took pictures. Love truly does gather us all in, transforming everyone it touches.
