Naturally Elegant

This ceremony is designed for the midsize wedding with a wedding party. It stays true to form bringing in the natural elements and creating a ceremony that brings in the setting as well as telling your love story. Open to fusing different faiths and cultural aspects to reflect your backgrounds this naturally elegant ceremony will be personalized and custom made. This package includes use of a wedding questionnaire, planning meetings and rehearsal. In Brewster area wedding ceremonies start at $400.00. Weddings in Provincetown, Falmouth and the Islands start at $600 duriing the summer months.

Kathleen officiated our wedding at the Edgartown lighthouse on Martha's Vineyard in May. I believe her divine spirit cleared the clouds away and the weather at the lighthouse was perfect. I've never seen a more blue sky! Her sincere interest in us and our story is simply a testament to the amazing preparation and her enthusiasm is infectious! My wife, Kate, often mentions Kathleen and how she took the time to make our ceremony so special, and we can't imagine anyone else having married us that day. We will never forget her, and her kindness with us.

Utterly Romantic/Destination

As the ceremony concludes and the cheers subside and the cocktail hour begins, your guests will be heard exclaiming, "Well, that was utterly romantic." This ceremony is truly the centerpiece of your BIG DAY. An original poem or ode is often created to share your Epic Love Story. Coordinating with other wedding professionals the ceremony sets the thematic tone and puts everyone in the mood for love! Truly unforgettable, totally engaging and yes, even fun. This tier includes destination weddings and accommodations will also be needed. Kathleen has presided over weddings in Rhode Island, Maine, Washington DC, and soon Indiana!

Kathleen went above and beyond my expectations of an officiant. She is such a lovely person and took the time to meet with us and get to know us before the ceremony. She gave us a unique and soulful ceremony template to work with and helped us make it our own. She even crafted a beautiful poem about the two us. She makes you live in the moment of the celebration, adding spontaneous pauses to look around and engage with your family and friends. Her upbeat personality carried a bright energy throughout the ceremony that all of the guests really remember. We look forward to seeing her again when we are on the Cape. While amateur officiants and individuals simply looking to make a few dollars may charge a couple as little as $100-$250, the average fees for professional officiants typically range from $400 to $800 depending on experience and the level of service and customization they provide. Many clergy such as priests and rabbis can cost well over $1000, often asking couples to make a donation to their church or synagogue in lieu of being paid directly. Factoring out the low rates from amateur officiants as well as the impact of individuals performing ceremonies at no charge to the couple, our determination is that the average cost for a professional wedding officiant is roughly $600 per ceremony.
