September Wedding in Orleans

 

This Cape Cod Wedding Officiant /Celebrant / Interfatih Minister was so happy to see photos from Ed and Ellen's Wedding . They are the sweetest most sincere and heartflet couple. When I was leaving the Orleans Inn Parking lot after the smile -filled ceremony Ed, the groom  came running up to me with a huge pumpkin in his hands. This spontaneous gesture says it all. He is so grateful for his beautiful wife ,

Ellen  "and his good heallth and a long life in the company of friends and family."

Happy New Year- A big week for Proposals

Hello young lovers wherever you are-

Happy New Year! The newly engaged are beginning to contact me filling me with the sweet tidings for the New Year of Weddings. My husband proposed to me on top the Empire State Building 25 years ago (actually in March but it felt  like New Years Eve to me.)

 I already had one couple come see me on New Year's Eve who had just become engaged a week before on Christmas Eve. Thanks to Ed Maas at the Orleans Inn they had already secured their venue, their flowers, a DJ and 'moi' as their Officiant. I was so inspired after they left , I worked on their ceremony , including the Inn Rules ( which hang on the wall in the lobby of the Orleans Inn) and sent off a draft of their September Wedding. This couple's sweet enthusiasm was delightfully contagious!

Matthew and Ashleigh- are a most poem -worthy couple. They wed at the Jonathon Young Windmill on Town Cove  on the last Sunday in May. A perfect late spring day; warm sun with a slight cool breeze off the water.

Ash is stunning, Matt is handsome and they just fit together so naturally. 

Their story is about finding love when you least expect it.

Here is a little bit of the poem I wrote for their ceremony.

 Ode to Ashleigh and Matthew: And Then He Kissed Me

She walked right up to him and they had their first kiss.

And he kissed her in a way that she never been kissed before

So neat and so natural in a way she would  forever
and always, adore!

That’s how Ash and Matt got from there to here

So let’s all give a rousing cheer.
