Valentine's Day - One Month Away!

Some people consider Valentine's Day a Hallmark holiday. I love any excuse to celebrate love!

When I worked as a chaplain in a nursing home my favorite visit was with a woman who had been mute for many months. It was close to Valentine's Day and the halls of the home were adorned with hearts and pink cupids everywhere. Suddenly this tiny woman lifted her face, caught my eye and winked, saying clear as a bell,  "Don't you just love -love."

So as we commence a New Year and Valentine's Day approaches, we can embrace 'big-hearted love.' Marriage provides plenty of practice so if any of you decide to 'tie the knot' or find cupid's arrow headed towards you, give me a call and we'll plan a big-hearted, loving- love ceremony, straight from the heart.

Happy New Year - Hello 2015

Thanks to all the couples who said I do this year and to all those who took the time to vote for me as the Cape and Islands A-list best wedding officiant. I hope I can continure to live up to this lovely honor.

We are having our first real snow right now on Cape Cod. So peaceful and romantic ( even if my hubbie is napping in front of the NFL play-off games!) I'm heading out into the evening to catch snowflakes on my tongue!

Cape Cod and beyond: Weddings 2014- Have Nuptials will Travel

First off-cape adventure was in February all to Providence, Rhode Island for Meghan and Jeff's beautiful wedding at the Providence Library.

Tom and Krystal 's Wedding Day in May  -Hooray!

 This  Cape Cod interfaith wedding minister/officiant/celebrant has gone off-cape and done some destination weddings in New England this past season.  Traveling to Bristol Rhode Island for Jay and Siobhan's nuptials at the Blithewold Mansion was a real adventure. I love them and I enjoyed getting to know Bristol and their wonderful family and friends.

Then there was a trip to Maine for Ben and Allison's Wedding on the island of Southport. What a gorgeous setting for a wedding!

Now as the polar vortex approaches Cape Cod I'm beginning to fantasize about some tropical island time .....a  destination winter wedding! And as Holidays approach there is no place like home. Brewster and just beyond feels right for right now!

Late Autumn and Winter Weddings on Cape Cod

This Cape Cod Wedding Officiant/ Celebrant/ Interfaith minister was just chatting with her dear friend who now lives in Texas. Meredith, my friend, was stunned when I said my outdoor wedding season on Cape Cod was not yet over. In fact, on Wednesday I'll be presiding over a wedding outside at Chatham Bars Inn. In the photos below, taken by Stacy Hedmond last year in December, Kerry and Edward say, "I do."  I much prefer the cool breezes with a few goosebumps to the scorching heat of midsummer. So my friend, send those mink wraps and let the winter wonderland weddings begin !
